Skopje, 26 July 2025 (MIA) – Health Minister Azir Aliu announced a new software solution to help patients move more easily through the healthcare system and improve communication.

“The app will allow patients to enter health indicators at any time, based on which their primary care physician or specialist can respond immediately, by adjusting therapy or providing further treatment recommendations. If the system detects values outside the normal range, it will automatically send an alert,” Aliu told radio Kanal 77.

He added that the app is part of the broader strategy for digitalization and optimization of the healthcare system, and also referred to the alignment of 12 laws aimed at increasing transparency and efficiency.

He also announced that oncology services will be expanded outside of Skopje, making treatment available in the hospitals in Shtip, Tetovo, Bitola, and City General Hospital “8 September.”
