Aleksandar Trajanovski appointed new Skopje Deputy Mayor
Skopje, 30 September 2022 (MIA) – Aleksandar Trajanovski has been appointed on Friday new Deputy Mayor of the City of Skopje.
His appointment comes after Bujare Abazi handed over on Thursday her resignation from the post.
Aleksandar Trajanovski comes from the private sector and was elected member of the Council in the City of Skopje in the local elections held last year, the City of Skopje said in a press release.
“Given that his second term as a councilor in the City of Skopje is ongoing, Trajanovski is one of the more experienced members of the current Council, with many years of experience in local self-government and city administration,” the press release reads, adding that Trajanovski’s experience will largely contribute in the implementation of the Modern Skopje program, and meeting the interests of all citizens of Skopje.
