Skopje, 1 November 2021 (MIA) – Last night I talked to the Prime Minister and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev and conveyed my disagreement with his decision to resign from both posts, said DUI leader Ali Ahmeti on Monday. Ahmeti told Zaev that SDSM should reevaluate his “hasty and unfounded” decision. “Last night I had a quite tense discussion with Zaev, informing him of my disagreement over the decision to resign from the party and PM posts. I highlighted DUI’s positions by saying these are local elections, that we won the general election a year ago and received a mandate to govern the country’s policies. We also talked today and I told him there is no compromise over big matters resulting in his withdrawal. His party should look into the decision that I believe is hasty and unfounded,” Ahmeti told TV21.
