Tetovo, 29 April 2024 (MIA) – As part of the parliamentary election campaign, DUI leader and list principal in the sixth election district, Ali Ahmeti, met with residents of the Tetovo municipalities of Tearce and Zhelino on Monday. 

“There are two philosophies now - integration and isolation, and the citizens will decide on this in the May 8 elections. We stand for peace, we stand for stability, we stand for maximum security, we stand for the future. We do not want to bring back the painful history, we should remember it, but not let it happen again, let's build the future. Our future is in the EU, our future is zero problems with neighbors, to work as we have worked so far, as we resolved the issue with Greece, and as a result, we became a NATO member, which ensured high security. As we also contributed in resolving the issue with the Bulgarians,” said Ahmeti.

He pointed out that citizens tell him they want the country to move forward towards the EU. 
“We build our philosophy like in Europe. Europe is united, the borders between Germany and France, between Germany and the Scandinavian countries have been removed. We seek their standards, to live and materialize them in our Balkans,” Ahmeti said in Zhelino.
