Ahmeti: Certain interpersonal relations not good
Skopje, 29 September 2022 (MIA) – There are interpersonal relations that are not good, not as a whole, but certain people. These things need to be fixed, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti said after Thursday's meeting with members of the Chair and Saraj party branches, who said in an open letter a few days ago that statutory party bodies have been absent in the party for almost two years and the political decision-making has become individual.
“I have been dealing with these issues for 20 years. The executive power has its problems, the branches and municipalities have other problems, and naturally contradictions arise between these institutions, it’s natural. We discussed with the executive power, heads of branches to settle these misunderstandings. Otherwise, there is nothing to worry about. Talks of a new party are not true,” said Ahmeti.
According to him, meetings are constructive and there should be a debate. He added that Thursday's meeting with the Saraj and Chair branches has gone well, noting that nothing is irreparable.
“Interpersonal relations are above all. Offices come and go, but it’s humanity that remains. Even families see disagreements, and no one can say they have ideal relations, as disagreements also happen. But let us find the energy to overcome these disagreements because we have great goals ahead,” Ahmeti said.
