Ahmeti: 2022 full of challenges, working for a better future
Skopje, 31 December 2021 (MIA) – Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) leader Ali Ahmeti extended New Year’s greetings, wishing all citizens health and well-being in the coming year. Ahmeti says 2022 will be full of challenges and one that requires hard work for a better future. “We reflect on the past 365 days and identify our objectives for the next 12 months. The outgoing year was accompanied by the new way of life imposed by the pandemic, but also the loss of many citizens from the virus and the tragedies. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, the legal verification of Corridor VIII, proclamation of Shar Mountain as a national park and the new election victory,” says Ahmeti. He adds they will work on starting the year with the opening of the EU accession negotiations, Corridor VIII-related activities, energy and economic stabilization, continuation of the gas distribution process and end to the pandemic. “I wish a Happy New Year to all citizens, lots of health, well-being and success,” says Ahmeti.
