Skopje, 23 May 2024 (MIA) - The Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism (APPT) hosted a promotional event at the Embassy of North Macedonia in Berlin with the goal of networking and cooperation with Macedonian and German tour operators.

The event was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed with Germany’s Alliance of Independent Travel Traders (ASR).

The presence of representatives of the Macedonian tourism sector and the APPT is crucial for the establishment of cooperation with German tour operators and the expansion of tourism markets, the APPT said in a press release.

“The agency for tourism extends its gratitude to the Macedonian Ambassador in Berlin, Ilber Sela, for the support and active participation in the promotion of Macedonia in front of the German tourist entities. Gratitude to tour guide Andrijana Bashoska for the commitment to convey the most authentic part of Macedonia and bring it closer to German tourists,” the Agency said.

The APPT said future cooperation with German tour operators has already been established, and the next activities will involve an informative tour through the country and business meetings in Skopje and Ohrid.
