Skopje, 1 November 2025 (MIA) - The election silence began at midnight and will last until 7 pm on November 2, the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services said.

The Agency stated that during the election silence, media outlets can report on the elections and the voting process, but may not broadcast any kind of campaign-related content.

“In reporting during the election silence, media will be considered to have violated the silence if they broadcast or publish any information, photographs, audio or audiovisual material related to or involving election participants, any form of media coverage that is openly or covertly in support of a campaign and could influence voters’ decisions, data revealing the identity of political entities and/or individuals involved in incidents or irregularities on election day, as well as statements from candidates, party representatives, or holders of public office,” the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services said.
