Skopje, 23 July 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski signed Wednesday a third order banning 42 new websites related to illegal online games of chance, bringing the total number of banned online gambling websites to 268.

“And we are not stopping here, we will continue further. This is our promise that is becoming a reality. This is a fight against the pandemic of illegal gambling operators who steal from our citizens, from the youngest, from the unprotected. I once again call on our citizens to withdraw the funds they have deposited on such gambling websites,” Andonovski wrote in a post on his official Facebook page.

In the post Andonovski said the new Law on Games of Chance will also address the pervasive advertising and false representation by the operators of games of chance.
