ABNA-SE unveils new website and logo, 30th general assembly to be held in Sofia
Pristina, 19 September 2021 (MIA) – At the 29th General Assembly of the Association of the Balkan News Agencies – Southeast Europe (ABNA-SE), held in Pristina, Kosovo, and hosted by the KosovaPress News Agency, the Association unveiled its new website and logo, and a decision was made that Sofia will host its 30th General Assembly. By decision of ABNA members including news agencies MIA – Skopje, BTA – Sofia, ATA – Tirana, ANA-MPA – Thessaloniki and other news agencies from the Balkans and Southeast Europe, Hina acting director Branka Gabriela Vojvodić was elected ABNA-SE secretary-general. The Macedonian delegation led by MIA’s Director General Dragan Antonovski also participated in bringing forward the proposal that the Montenegro Informative News Agency MINA be elected as ABNA member. Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti organized a reception for the participants in the ABNA regional conference which was dedicated to the topic of the media and news agencies in the post-Covid age. ABNA-SE, a non-profit professional association of the news agencies of Southeast European countries, was established in 1995 to promote teamwork between regional news agencies and encourage a climate of peace, friendship, security and cooperation in Southeast Europe.
