62nd music and theater festival in Ohrid closed
Ohrid, 21 August 2022 (MIA) - The 62nd edition of the Ohrid Summer Festival was closed Saturday evening with a performance of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, produced by the Yugoslav Drama Theater in Belgrade.
"Art, the aesthetic experiencing of top concerts and theater plays at authentic venues, including the Antique Theater, St. Sofia church, Dolni Saraj, we offered at the 62nd festival edition prove that music and theater unites the world, changing it and making it more beautiful," Natasha Popovikj, director of the Ohrid Summer Festival, said at the ceremony closing the event that opened on July 12.
Traditionally, Ohrid Summer Festival was closed with extinguishing of the festival torch and spectacular fireworks.
