Skopje, 20 October 2021 (MIA) - The 40th edition of  the Skopje Jazz Festival started on Wednesday evening at the National Opera and Ballet with a performance by Swedish power jazz saxophonist Mats Gustafsson. New York-based acclaimed bassist Linda May Han Oh is set to take the stage next. The 2021 edition of the festival will also include a performance by NU Music 4 featuring Mats Gustafsson, Goran Kafješ, Christer Bothén and Okay Temizare, dedicated to jazz legend Don Cherry, as well as a performance by Yordan Kostov Ensemble’s performance. The festival, which runs until Oct. 24, will be hosting 11 jazz musicians from North Macedonia, Europe, Cuba and the USA performing live at the National Opera and Ballet and Frosina Cinema within the Youth Cultural Centre (MKC).
