200 unemployed to get jobs through “Supporting Job Creation through Green Investments” measure

Skopje, 19 August 2025 (MIA) - Ministry of Economy and Labour, through the Employment Service Agency, has published a public call for the measure “Supporting Job Creation through Green Investments,” which is part of the 2025 operational plan for active employment programs, measures, and labour market services.
The measure will enable the employment of 200 job seekers in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises investing in green technologies, products, and processes, according to the Ministry of Economy and Labour.
The financial aid will be awarded as non-refundable grants between Mden 250,000 and Mden 750,000 depending on the number of newly created jobs: Mden 250,000 for one new employment; Mden 500,000 for two new employments; and Mden 750,000 for three new employments.
Through this support, companies will be able to finance the purchase of new equipment and machinery, software and licenses, renewable energy equipment, as well as materials for energy efficiency.
Eligible applicants are micro, small, and medium-sized private sector enterprises that meet the requirements set out in the public call, with priority given to companies in the following sectors: manufacturing industry, agriculture, forestry and water management, water supply and waste management, construction, and transport.
The public call is open until September 1, 2025. Interested employers may apply at employment centers on working days from 8 am to 2 pm. The conditions, rights, and obligations between the Employment Service Agency of North Macedonia (ESA), UNDP, and the enterprises awarded non-repayable financial support will be regulated through mutual agreements.
The enterprise has the option to add its own funds to the allocated financial support for higher-value purchases.
