Skopje, 26 October 2021 (MIA) – In the period Oct.15-21, a total of 124 COVID-19 patients died, 78% of whom were unvaccinated. 97 of the deceased patients were unvaccinated, while 27 were vaccinated with both doses, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Tuesday. Out of the 27 people who were vaccinated, one had received the Pfizer vaccine, two-AstraZeneca, six-Sinovac and 16-Sinopharm. Two of the deceased were vaccinated with thee Sputnik V jab. The 27 fatalities who were vaccinated suffered from chronic illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity, lung disease, etc. and were aged 63-93. The Ministry of Health releases weekly reports on COVID-19 fatalities who were fully vaccinated, their chronic illnesses, and the type of vaccine they received. People who have received two doses, with more than 14 days having passed since their second shot, are considered fully vaccinated.
