Skopje, 2 May 2024 (MIA) - At a press conference Thursday, “Worth It” coalition’s Valbon Limani urged the relevant institutions to act over what he described as vote theft in a polling station in Lipkovo after the Administrative Court accepted their complaint.
Limani said the Administrative Court accepted on Wednesday the coalition’s complaint over polling station 1112/1 in Lipkovo, where, he said, people close to DUI officials were engaged in ballot stuffing.
“The Court’s decision states that the complaint of presidential candidate Arben Taravari has been accepted. The State Election Commission’s decision is being modified and the complaint submitted by Arben Taravari through an authorized representative in regard to the procedure of voting, collecting and determining the results of the vote in polling station 1112/1 in the Municipality of Lipkovo is accepted. The results of the vote in polling station 1112/1 in the Municipality of Lipkovo are annulled,” Limani said.
This, Limani stressed, proves that DUI was engaged in “electoral engineering” at the April 24 presidential elections.
