Shtip, 26 September 2022 (MIA) — Simon Trpchevski’s “Makedonissimo” concert drew roaring applause at Shtip’s main square on Sunday evening, according to MIA’s Shtip correspondent. The concert setlist included 23 covers of Macedonian folk dances and songs from Trpchevski’s "Makedonissimo," an album fusing traditional Macedonian songs with jazz and classical elements. Shtip-born clarinetist Hidan Mamudov performed on stage together with Trpchevski on piano, Aleksandar Krapovski on violin, Aleksandar Somov on cello, and Vlatko Nushev on drums. The quintet will give a concert in Bitola on Monday. mr/
