Western Balkans ESG Summit in Porto Montenegro

Tivat, 27 April 2023 (MIA) - The Western Balkans ESG Summit, which is taking place April 26-28 in Porto Montenegro, will bring together officials from the Western Balkans, representatives of numerous European institutions, leading global businesses leaders from the private sector, as well as numerous renowned experts in the fields of ESG standards, innovation and sustainability.

The Western Balkans ESG Summit will be officially opened on April 27 by the newly elected President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović. It will give particular emphasis to the development of the region and countries of the Western Balkans in the field of green transition, innovation, sustainable development and responsible corporate governance, as well as faster economic growth of Montenegro and the regional economic cooperation on the way to EU integration.

According to MIA’s correspondent, the event will feature keynote presentations and interactive panel discussions on critical ESG themes – sustainable finance, green transition, and green innovation. Attendees will further have an opportunity to learn about the most forward-thinking technologies and future business models and join focused workshops on emerging sustainability regulations or standards and tools for the best ESG business performance.

“For two days, participants will receive an immersive experience in Porto Montenegro, an award-winning marina boasting platinum-standard status for environmental consciousness,” organisers said.

Western Balkans ESG Summit, dedicated to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics, is organized by Sustineri Partners, a consultancy specializing in ESG advisory, and Porto Montenegro, a marina and real estate development set within Boka Kotorska. The Summit is convened in partnership with the Government of Montenegro and Bloomberg Adria.
