Washington, 19 March 2025 (dpa/MIA) - US President Donald Trump has spoken of a "very good" call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Just completed a very good telephone call with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. It lasted approximately one hour," Trump posted on his Truth Social Platform on Wednesday.

"Much of the discussion was based on the call made yesterday with President Putin in order to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs," he added.

"We are very much on track," Trump said, noting that a more detailed statement from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz would follow.
