Sofia, 26 June 2025 (MIA) — The Macedonian folk song and dance ensemble Drimkol will give a concert titled "From Vevchani to Sofia: Macedonian Culture and Tradition in Rhythm" at the Macedonian Cultural and Information Center in Sofia at 6:30 pm.

According to organizers, the Drimkol concert will present "Macedonian rhythms from western and eastern Macedonia to promote the country's culture and tradition."

The concert will feature traditional songs and dances to music performed by the folk ensemble's orchestra.

"Drimkol, with its authentic folk attire, authentic instruments, and authentic choreographies from the Vevchani region is a one-of-a-kind ensemble, different from all others in Macedonia," organizers say.

Ever since Drimkol was formed in 1947, it has presented the Macedonian folklore tradition at numerous events and festivals around the world. mr/
