Skopje, 4 September 2025 (MIA) - A delegation of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, led by Vice-President Martin Kuijer, paid Wednesday a visit to the Constitutional Court and met with President Darko Kostadinovski and Judge Ana Pavlovska Daneva.

Interlocutors voiced mutual satisfaction from the high level of cooperation and the continued dialogue on issues in the field of constitutional judiciary and rule of law, the Constitutional Court said in a press release.

Venice Commission representatives were interested in the Court decision that terminated several laws and bylaws related to the term "community association", including parts of the methodology on planning of public sector employments in accordance with the principle of just representation, the so-called 'balancer'.

Both sides expressed readiness to continue the construction cooperation and dialogue in the coming period, reads the press release.
