Vankovska presents election platform in Makedonska Kamenica and Delchevo

Makedonska Kamenica, 12 April 2024 (MIA) -  Levica-backed presidential candidate Biljana Vankovska presented her election platform before the citizens of Makedonska Kamenica and Delchevo on Friday. She said that this was her second time visiting Makedonska Kamenica, so the goal is to talk "face-to-face" with citizens about current issues and to present her platform as presidential candidate.

"I first came to Makedonska Kamenica when we were opening our local office. Today is market day and there are a lot more citizens, we continued our "face-to-face" discussions with citizens, who, unfortunately, are telling us the same story about the number of citizens who got on a bus and left town. This part of Macedonia, but also other parts, are facing an emigration of the best and the most loved ones. The goal of our programme, I am referring to my programme as presidential candidate, including what will be Levica's parliamentary programme, is aimed at resolving citizens’ issues," Vankovska said.

According to her, the news of the day is that there will be no presidential debates and citizens will not be able to hear Levica's arguments.

"We have solutions and a vision, we will not invest money in military goals, but social and developmental goals for Macedonia. Unfortunately, the news of the day is that incumbent President and Supreme Commander is scared of a TV debate, therefore, beloved and esteemed citizens of Macedonia, you will not get the opportunity to see that he has no response to my arguments, which are not just scholarly, but factual and sensible; so come out and meet me, let's hang out so that I can explain what Levica actually has to offer, i.e. Biljana Vankvska," she added.

Head of the third election district Borislav Krmov also attends the meetings with citizens of Makedonska Kamenica and Delchevo.

"I was told that the people from Makedonska Kamenica are traditionally independent. And that is why the support here is obviously so great. I want to add that the professor is exactly the type of independent candidate that cares about Macedonian interests, not only other interests. She is a candidate that will not represent embassies, but the Macedonian identity as her greatest interest," Krmov noted.

Vankovska and Krmov spoke with the people of Makedonska Kamenica, and continued presenting the election platform in Delchevo. ssh/nn/
