Skopje, 1 October 2023 (MIA) — Kenya's marathon runner Victor Kiplagat Serem claimed first place in this year’s Wizz Air Skopje Marathon, finishing the 42-kilometer race in 2 hours 15 minutes 9 seconds.

Kenyan marathon runner Laban Cheruiyot finished second (2:16:03) and Macedonian marathon runner Dario Ivanovski finished third (2:19:08).

The fastest female marathoner was Kenyan runner Ruth Matebo.

The winners of the half-marathon race were Adrijana Pop Arsova and Ben Felton from the UK. mr/
