Skopje, 24 June 2025 (MIA) — Skopje Summer festival continues Tuesday evening with two performances of two plays — "Gidion's Knot" at the Drama Theater and "Good People" at MKC — and a piano recital by Gorjana Stojanovska at the Museum of Macedonian Struggle, according to organizers.

"Gidion's Knot" is a play by Johnna Adams. In it, a grieving mother and an overwhelmed elementary school teacher have a difficult conversation about the tragic suicide of the mother’s son, the teacher’s student, Gidion.

The play was directed by Dragana Miloshevski Popova. The cast consists of Biljana Dragikjevikj Projkoska, Anja Mitikj and First Rehearsal children's drama studio members.

"Good People" is based on "Lungs" by Duncan Macmillan and "The Relation Work" project (1976-80) by Marina Abramović and Ulay. In the two-character play, a couple contemplates having a child in a troubled world.

The play was directed by Tamara Stojanoska and produced by Zlaten Elec independent theater. The cast consists of Tijana Trajchevska and Filip Hristovski.

Gorjana Stojanovska will give a piano recital of works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Schubert, Franz Liszt, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky arranged by Arcadi Volodos, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Alexander Scriabin. The recital begins at 8:30 pm.
