Skopje, 4 September 2022 (MIA) – Police officers detained early Sunday two persons for smuggling 14 illegal migrants at the A1 motorway near Negotino. The 14 migrants from Syria were transported in two vehicles driven by two inhabitants of the Skopje village of Drachevica, aged 23 and 36, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release. A public prosecutor has been notified over the event and charges will be pressed accordingly.
