Skopje, 2 February 2026 (MIA) — Wet roads are reported nationwide, with slushy snow slowing traffic at higher altitude places. Fog has reduced visibility to 100 meters at Pletvar, Gjavato and Preseka.

As of Nov. 15, 2025, winter equipment in vehicles is mandatory until Mar. 15, 2026.

Landslides are possible along the routes of Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo and Kochani – Delchevo.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, adjust their speed to weather conditions and follow traffic rules, signs and signals.
