Skopje, 26 November 2024 (MIA) - Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski met Tuesday with the President of Interpol, Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, as part of his visit to the United Arab Emirates.

At the meeting, Toshkovski and Al-Raisi spoke about making use of INTERPOL’s databases with the goal of a more efficient fight against transnational crime in all its forms, support for cross-border joint investigations and continued training.  

“With President Al-Raisi we agreed that the responsibility for a serious approach to police action and readiness to deal with all future challenges is shared. The past 30 years, as members of the largest global police organization, serve as a testimony of our commitment and readiness for active global police cooperation and fight against crime and corruption,” Minister Toshkovski underlined.
