Toshkovski meets Ambassador Radukov, invites Bulgarian counterpart Mitov to visit Macedonia

Skopje, 28 February 2025 (MIA) – Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski met Friday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, Zelyasko Radukov.
"During the meeting, discussions focused on plans and ways to strengthen police cooperation through adoption of an action plan or a cooperation programme between the two ministries. The plan will include a review of ongoing and planned activities, as well as the initiation of new ones," the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a press release.
At the meeting, Minister Toshkovski extended an invitation to the newly appointed Bulgarian Minister of Interior, Daniel Mitov, for an official visit to Macedonia and the Ministry of Interior. As stated in the press release, the visit would be of great importance for further strengthening cooperation in the field of security.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening border and security cooperation, noting that this partnership would also contribute to overcoming existing challenges between the two countries, the Ministry of Interior stated.
