Sofia, 9 August 2021 (BTA/MIA) - If the anti-establishment parties do not vote in support of the draft cabinet, proposed by the There Is Such a People party (TISP), the result will be new elections, TISP leader Slavi Trifonov wrote in a Facebook post on Monday. According to him, support for TISP's cabinet from the so-called anti-establishment parties is more than logical. Trifonov listed the topics on which there is consensus between TISP and these parties - putting an end to the GERB model of governance, analysing "all mistakes and thefts" and administering justice, reforming the Judiciary by scrapping the specialized courts and prosecution offices, presenting the National Recovery and Resilience Plan to the European Commission as soon as possible, updating pensions, conducting "serious reform" in the healthcare sector, preparing this country for a possible new COVID-19 health crisis and purchasing the necessary number of medical helicopters. Trifonov recalled the agreements reached during the talks with the anti-establishment parties about agriculture, education and fiscal policy. "So, if the anti-establishment parties do not vote for TISP's government, the reason will not be disagreement over one of the listed topics, but rather something else. I cannot and do not wish to guess what that might be," he said. According to him, this would result in suspended and delayed reforms, which objectively speaking translates into betrayal by the anti-establishment parties and new parliamentary elections, to the relief of GERB and the establishment parties. This would also make it impossible for the anti-establishment parties to explain to their supporters why they're doing all of this to them, Trifonov wrote.
