Three people killed in train accident in south-eastern Croatia
Timișoara, Romania, 10 September 2022 (dpa/MIA) - At least three people have died in a train accident in south-eastern Croatia.
Eleven others were slightly injured when a passenger train collided with a parked goods train for reasons that are still unclear, Croatian media reported on Saturday.
Firefighters were searching for other possible victims at the scene of the accident.
The accident near the village of Rajic occurred on Friday evening. Investigators said there were indications that the driver may have ignored a stop signal.
