Sofia, 4 October 2022 (dpa/MIA) - Three people were killed and one woman was seriously injured in an explosion at a large arms factory in the central town of Kazanlak, Bulgarian media reported on Tuesday. A dark cloud of smoke was briefly visible after the powerful explosion at the plant, according to Bulgarian state radio. An investigation is under way, but the cause of the explosion is currently unknown. Fatal accidents occur relatively frequently in Bulgarian arms factories and ammunition warehouses.
