Skopje, 29 June 2025 (MIA) -- Three people injured in the Kochani fire are still receiving medical care in hospitals out of the country -- two of them in Turkiye and one in Slovenia, Minister of Health Azir Aliu told a press conference Sunday.

He said all three patients were stable. He also said there were several patients with deep burns receiving medical treatment at the Skopje Clinical Center's Plastic Surgery Clinic and two patients were being treated at the private hospital Sistina.

In response to reporters' questions, the health minister also said the Ponikva rehabilitation center would accept more burn patients mid-July.

The burn patients currently recovering there, he said, were working with five physical therapists, a physiatrist and a general surgeon. mr/
