'The Wizard of Oz' play to mark Children's Day, June 1

Skopje, 30 May 2023 (MIA) — To mark International Children's Day, a 'From Playtime to Performance' theater school production of "The Wizard of Oz" will be staged at the City Park on June 1, according to the Ministry of Culture in a press release.
"Join us to celebrate this important day together and be on the European map through the magic of theater. The production promises to be an unforgettable experience both for children and for parents," Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska Stojchevska is quoted as saying in the release.
"The Wizard of Oz" cast consists of children actors Neda Tasevska, Maksim Apostolovski, Teofil Sachkarski, Andrej Tanushev, Kalin Atanasovski, Teona Troshanska, Matea Kozharovska, Neda Blazhevska, Andrea Stojkovska, Josif Blazhevikj, Josif Blazhev, Teodora Trajkoveva, Anastasija Gegovska, Darija Sekulovska, Jana Paleski, Jana Grupcheva, Marko Minoski and Ana Markovikj.
The play was created under the mentorship of actors Marina Pop Pankova, Irena Ilievska and Afrodita Kirjakovska, director Igor Ivkovikj, and producer Miodrag Kostikj.
Other collaborators include translator Mirjana Davchevska, makeup artist Marija Lapadatovikj and set designers Goran and Aleksandra Sachkarski. mr/
