Terror threat level raised in Britain after Liverpool car blast

London, 15 November 2021 (PA Media/dpa/MIA) - Home Secretary Priti Patel said the terror threat level had been raised in Britain, meaning an attack is "highly likely."
Speaking to broadcasters, she said: "The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAV) are now increasing the United Kingdom's threat level from substantial to severe.
"And there's a reason for that, and that reason is because what we saw yesterday is the second incident in a month."
A car explosion outside a Liverpool hospital on Remembrance Sunday has been declared a terrorist attack but the motive is unclear, according to the police.
