Skopje, 3 November 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi told a Parliament session on Monday that the MP term of three lawmakers who have been elected mayors is now over.

In accordance with Articles 8 and 152 of the Electoral Code, the MP term ends on the day when a mayor's term is verified.

VMRO-DPMNE MPs Beti Stamenkovska-Trajkovska, Jane Micevski and Dejan Prodanoski have been elected mayors of Kisela Voda, Sopishte and Prilep respectively.

The State Election Commission is set to inform the Parliament who will take over from the outgoing MPs, namely candidates on the party lists from the respective election districts.
