TAV Macedonia: No cancelled flights at Skopje airport since 9 am
Skopje, 3 January 2023 (MIA) – Due to a thick fog reducing visibility in the Skopje valley, ten flights were cancelled and three were rerouted from 8 pm on Monday until 9 am on Tuesday. No flights have been cancelled since, according to TAV Macedonia.
“We expect no disruptions at the moment, but visibility is variable and depends on the bad weather that’s been striking the Skopje valley for several days now,” reads the press release.

Passengers are advised to check the www.skp.airports.com.mk website, it adds, where any changes to Departures/Arrivals are updated in real time.
As regards cancelled and rerouted flights, the airport operator points out that, in accordance with the air carriers’ rules, they organize transportation and hotel accommodation for the passengers. For all further information regarding passenger rights, they urge passengers to contact their airlines.
Should passengers have the need to additionally demand their passenger rights, they are urged to contact the Civil Aviation Agency and see rules and terms at https://www.caa.gov.mk/.
The Skopje fog has been making air traffic difficult for three days, and visibility has been reduced on multiple roads in the country as well. dk/nn/
