Strumica hosts ‘EXIT’ at regional Open Balkan Food and Wine Festival
Strumica, 7 September 2022 (MIA) – Following the successful realization of the first international fair for wine, food and tourism “Wine Vision by Open Balkan”, held September 1-4 in Belgrade, the promotion of the best wines and tastiest authentic food from North Macedonia will continue in Strumica on Wednesday evening at the regional Food and Wine Festival, said the Government in a press release.
The Food and Wine Festival is being held in collaboration with the renowned EXIT organization, which is also organizing the “Get EXITed” music event. In addition to the rich music programme, the event will offer a specific and interesting ethno-gastronomic programme as well.
The Food and Wine Festival will be open to all visitors free of charge and will offer the best wines from regional and local wineries, regional food as well as traditional organic specialties from the Macedonian cuisine. Chefs from local restaurants and students from the culinary school will be present and together they will prepare local specialties.
Small producers and farmers of organic produce will have stalls at the fair as well.
“The Regional Food and Wine Festival in Strumica, which is being held as part of the Open Balkan Initiative, represents a great opportunity to enjoy Macedonian varietal wines, authentic Macedonian cuisine and international music,” said the Government.
The “Get EXITed” music event in Strumica will host performances by exciting musicians from the international and regional music stage such Deborah De Luca, Mahmut Orhan, Senidah and Kristijan Molnar. In addition to this, domestic artists such as Dina Jashari and Friends, 21 Vek and DJ Goce S.A.F and DJ Chvare will also perform at the event. ad/ba/
