Struga, 24 August 2025 (MIA) – The 64th Struga Poetry Evening festival ends Sunday with a ceremony on the Bridge of Poetry in Struga in which the awards “Golden Wreath”, “Miladinov Brothers” and “Bridges of Struga” will be presented.

This year’s recipient of the Golden Wreath award is Slovak poet Ivan Štrpka. The 2025 Miladinov Brothers award for best book of poetry between two festivals will be presented to Macedonian poet Juliana Velichkovska. The Bridges of Struga award, presented by UNESCO and the Struga Poetry Evenings to the best newcomer, will go to Polish poet Mateusz Szymczyk.

About 70 poets from the country and abroad have been participating in the 64th edition of the festival, which opened on Thursday.
