Skopje, 5 May 2023 (MIA) - The Public Enterprise for State Roads, acting upon a request by a public prosecutor from the Public Prosecutor's Office for organized crime and corruption, submitted on Thursday the contract on the construction of Corridors 8 and 10d, the Prosecutor's Office said in a press release. 

The State Roads Enterprise has previously submitted to the Prosecutor's Office the numbers of the public procurement announcements related to Corridors 8 and 10d, regarding which the public prosecutor has provided access to the electronic database of the Public Procurement Bureau.

"The contract, as well as the content of the overall electronic documentation from the Electronic System for Public Procurement related to all procedures for public procurement where Corridors 8 and 10d are the subject of the contract, will be analyzed in the coming period in order to determine elements of possible crime committed," reads the press release. 

Given that the documentation is extensive, the Prosecutor's Office notes, the public prosecutor and the team of investigators will need time to analyze and check all indications and reports that have been in the public's interest for months. "The Prosecutor's Office will inform the public in time about any action that will not hinder the procedure and that can be shared with the public," the press release adds.
