Skopje, 24 October 2023 (MIA) - The State Archives and the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia signed Tuesday a memorandum of cooperation. The goal is to strengthen and expand cooperation in the field of research, collection, processing, registering, keeping and promoting archived material important for the Bank's history, financial situation, and the development of banking and economy in North Macedonia. 

The cooperation will be realized through research and digitization of archival materials from banks and banking organizations, important for the agricultural and economic development in North Macedonia, joint exhibitions and other scientific and educational activities, promoting joint publications and books by the signatory parties, for the purpose of locating, recording and digitizing archival materials for agricultural and economic development, the State Archives said in a press release.

The memorandum was signed between State Archives director, Emil Krsteski, and National Bank Governor, Anita Angelovska-Bezhoska. ssh/nn/
