Skopje, 19 June 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi met Thursday with Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and said the two countries enjoy friendly relations that could serve as a foundation for enhancement of cooperation, primarily in the field of economy.

Speaker Gashi said the Government is putting focus on foreign trade, for the purpose of enhancing trade with countries having a small share in the trade exchange, the Parliament said in a press release.

Minister Jabbarov said there are many possibilities for mutual cooperation in the energy sector and economy in general.

Interlocutors agreed on the importance of enhancing bilateral relations at all levels, for the purpose of ensuring better cooperation, reads the press release.
