Spasovski says Vanja died from gunshot wound, two handguns found in Skopje
Skopje, 5 December 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski said late Tuesday that Vanja Gjorchevska died from a gunshot wound.
"The autopsy report will give the exact finding but there was a gunshot wound," said Minister Spasovski when quizzed about the cause of the 14-year-old girl's death.
Asked if the murder weapon has been retrieved, Spasovski said two handguns have been found in Skopje, and they are being examined by forensic experts.
He added that the police has also found Vanja's cell phone.
The girl was reported missing on November 27 and her body was found in the vicinity of Skopje on December 3.
