Slovenian firefighters and Czech helicopter to depart country after helping combat wildfires
Skopje, 3 August 2025 (MIA) - The Slovenian team of 61 firefighters and 18 vehicles specialized in putting out forest fires is set to depart the country on Sunday, said the Protection and Rescue Directorate.
The head of the Directorate, Stojanche Angelov, thanked the firefighters for their assistance and presented them with certificates of gratitude.
The Directorate said the Czech Black Hawk helicopter with its crew of seven people is also set to leave the country on Monday.
