Skopje, 17 March 2024 (MIA) — On the Demir Kapija – Negotino regional road on Sunday around 5 am, the police apprehended a 22-year-old man from Skopje who was transporting five migrants from Syria.

Accoring to a press release from the Interior Ministry, Skopje resident M.A. (22), driving a Peugeot, did not stop when waved down by police. After they chased down the vehicle, the police took him into custody.

A criminal report will be submitted to the prosecutor's office, the release said. mr/
