Skopje, 29 June 2022 (MIA) – This year’s eighth edition of the Skopje Cinema City film festival begins on Wednesday with an exhibition of Nick Cave photographs by the renowned Serbian photographer Nemanja Đorđević. The exhibition opens at the Cultural Information Center – Skopje at 8pm.

Nemanja Đorđević is a rock photographer, videographer and editor of the Balkanrock website. He has numerous solo exhibitions in his portfolio. He has participated in a number of group exhibitions as well, among which the traditional “Rock Moments” stands out.

The Cultural Information Center said the festival will focus on the famous musician, singer, poet and performer Nick Cave, and on June 30 the film part of the festival will open with the screening of the Nick Cave: 20,000 Days on Earth musical documentary drama film co-written and directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, at the Cinematheque’s summer cinema “A Quiet Summer”. This year Cave is the laureate of the festival and as per tradition, will receive the lifetime achievement recognition.
