Copenhagen, 2 October 2025 (MIA) - We need politics as the art of the possible, instead of the politics we are living with in which the question is who wins, when, and how they do it, said President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova in a doorstep statement ahead of the European Political Community meeting in Copenhagen. 

“We need more Kantianism than Machiavellianism,” Siljanovska-Davkova added. 

At the meeting which will focus on support for Ukraine and the general security situation in Europe, Siljanovska-Davkova is expected to address a panel discussion titled “Security and Resilience: Traditional and New Threats” which will be chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Ahead of today's working session, participants in the meeting of the European Political Community attended on Wednesday evening an official dinner hosted by Danish King Frederik X and Queen Mary at the Amalienborg Royal Palace in Copenhagen.
