Skopje, 3 October 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, ministers and other guests attended Friday a reception hosted by the Embassy of Germany on occasion of German Unity Day.

"Let me congratulate Unity Day to President Franck-Walter Steinmeier and the German people, extending my sincere wishes for further progress, stability and prosperity. Reunification of the German people after fall of Berlin Wall in 1990 is a historic event for the whole of Europe. This day reminds us that peace and stability are built by respecting human dignity, strength of the law, dialogue and understanding," President Siljanovska Davkova wrote in a Facebook post.

The President expresses her belief that Macedonian-German relations, which are traditionally close and friendly, will continue to develop and enhance.
