Skopje, 3 April 2025 (MIA) — President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova visited Thursday the injured in the Kochani nightclub fire receiving medical care in Sofia's Pirogov Hospital.

Nine of the 14 burn patients in Bulgaria are at Pirogov Hospital. All of them have been detached from mechanical ventillation and have undergone surgery, with some of them receiving skin transplants. One patient is being treated on an outpatient basis.

The patients are receiving psychological support and continue receiving medical treatment for their injuries. Another three burn patients are hospitalized in Varna and one is hospitalized in Plovdiv.

Siljanovska Davkova is on a working visit to Bulgaria to attend a meeting of heads of state and government of the Aqaba Process for the Balkans III in Sofia.

She was invited to participate by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II. mr/
