Skopje, 1 August 2024 (MIA) – President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Thursday with a delegation, led by Vasil Sterjovski, President of the Macedonian Alliance for European Integration of the Republic of Albania.

Siljanovska Davkova was informed about the party’s activities aimed at affirming and improving the position of the Macedonian national minority in the Republic of Albania, her office said. 

Also, views were shared about the latest census conducted in Albania and the position of the representatives of the Macedonian minority, who don’t recognize the census findings, said the press release. 

President Siljanovska Davkova expressed support for the efforts of the representatives of the Macedonian national minority to improve their rights calling for them to unite so as to improve their position. 

Siljanovska Davkova, said the press release, stressed it is imperative that a census should always reflect the reality in any society.
