Signing up for free vaccination against seasonal flu for at-risk groups begins
Skopje, 10 October 2022 (MIA) - The Ministry of Health said that registration for free vaccination against seasonal flu for at-risk groups of the population has begun as of Monday, via the website vakcinacija.mk. It is a four-type vaccine against seasonal flu, produced by the Abbott company from the Netherlands.
Vaccination against seasonal flu is the most effective measure for the prevention of influenza, which prevents the occurrence of more severe forms, complications and death, especially among at-risk groups.
Free vaccination against seasonal flu is optional, intended for the following at-risk groups: seniors (over 65 years old), people with chronic diseases, health workers, pregnant women, children aged six months to five years.
By filling out the application, citizen can register for vaccination directly in the e-system. According to the schedule provided in the vaccination plan, citizens will then receive a text message about the exact date, time and place of vaccination, said the Ministry, adding that citizens who belong to risk groups can express their interest by filling out the application at the following link:
