SEC: Voter turnout 20.12% until 1 pm

Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) - The State Election Commission (SEC) said that voter turnout in the local elections stood at 20.12% by 1:00 pm.

SEC spokesperson Radica Todorovska Aleksovska said data had been received from 3,207 polling stations by 1 pm, covering 1,666,298 registered voters, of whom 335,244 had cast their votes.

The data received so far cover 92.31 percent of polling stations.

According to SEC spokesperson, the highest voter turnout has been recorder in the municipalities of Chashka (40.74%), Novaci (36.52%), Vevchani (33.76%), Kriva Palanka (32.42%), Rankovce (32.07%), Lozovo (31.86%), Dojran (30.74%), Kratovo (30.01%), Demir Kapija (29.25%), Debarca (28.42%), Bogdanci (27.31%), and Gradsko (26.01%).

The lowest turnout was registered in Vrapchishte (7.23%), Gostivar (11.66%), Bosilovo (12.96%), Shuto Orizari (13.76%), Debar (13.87%), Mavrovo and Rostushe (14.45%), Struga (16%), Zhelino (17.19%), Jegunovce (17.50%), Radovish (17.97%), Plasnica (18.88%), and Gazi Baba (18.97%), SEC spokesperson Radica Todorovska Aleksovska said at a press conference.

Voter turnout in the City of Skopje is 20.07 percent. By municipality, turnout was as follows: Aerodrom 20.63%, Butel 20.69%, Gazi Baba 18.97%, Gjorche Petrov 19.67%, Karposh 21.69%, Kisela Voda 20.89%, Saraj 21.18%, Centar 22%, Chair 19.17%, and Shuto Orizari 13.76%.

SEC spokesperson Todorovska Aleksovska highlighted that during the 2021 local elections, voter turnout in Skopje stood at 20.76 percent by 1pm.
